Is Farm Boy the New Wizard?

OH BOI IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

So - here's the theory we've all been having - Farmboi and Ozbae: are they linked? And the simple answer is very likely yes, and here's why I think this is the case.

Firstly, let's talk about Farm boy himself in terms of what he actually does. Without any lines of dialogue, he wakes up in response to the villains' plans as if he had just experienced a nightmare, he goes downstairs and opens the door to a new dawn, and he tends to a farm that only he seems to live on, quite like a hermit. Now, the fact he was shown to wake up straight after the villains' planning sesh obviously suggests that he's going to be some kind of counter to these plans - furthered by him opening the door to a new dawn. This implies that he's going to be the one to uphold this fresh start in the face of evil - which sounds remarkably similar to Qrow in the WoR stating that they would need Ozpin in the battles to come. Farm boy is then shown to be similar to Ozpin by living on his own on a farm like a hermit - not unlike the story of the wizard. He also in some aspects looks like Ozpin with a similar hairstyle, as if he were a younger version of the old wizard.

There is also the matter of how he fits into what we already know from Ozpin and the events surrounding him. Firstly, Salem has openly stated that Cinder "killed dear Ozpin", whilst Qrow - his supposed closest ally - believes him to merely be "missing". However there's nothing to suggest these two can't be the same. Qrow found Ozpin's staff, as shown by the after-credits scene of volume 3. This shows that Qrow must have found whatever was left from Ozpin's fight against Cinder (which was previously generally believed to have resulted in him being captured and taken to Salem). We can now assume though, that he has not been taken to Salem as she openly thinks him to be dead, meaning that Qrow having his staff could mean that he found the body of Ozpin, but knows that he will return - possibly as a reincarnation. This could also match Salem's argument of supporting Cinder for killing Ozpin as even if the Oz hasn't fully been destroyed, he'll still be out of the game for some time.

It is my belief that Farm boy is this return/reincarnation of Ozpin. Due to the aforementioned similarities, he seems to be linked to Ozpin in some way; and from what I've said, it's possible that the wizard will be reborn as/in someone else. The reason I think Farm boy could be this individual is for three main reasons. Firstly, the similarities between him and Oz. Secondly, his eyes. They've often been commented on by fans for being very striking and colourful, but the colours that make them up: greens, yellows, browns and reds; they all seem to be related to the seasons - something we know is inherently related to the wizard's power. Finally, Ozpin claimed that the story of the wizard has been around since he was a boy. By Farm Boy being the new wizard, it would explain how Ozpin was the wizard, despite also being young enough to remember it as a fairy-tale, as he will himself have been a reincarnation of the wizard and not the original. If this is the case, then Farm boy waking up as if from a nightmare may have been to do with him inheriting the powers, as he could have had a dream of Ozpin's last memories: dying at the hands of Cinder.

As always this could all be wrong, but I look forward to finding out the truth anyway.
